Greeting Card Orders

Go here if you have any questions or are having difficulties with the email or... ANYTHING!

Your email to us will activate the order process and we will send you a Confirmation/Invoice of your Order together with payment and shipping information. We will also calculate postage for you at this point. You do not have to proceed if you are not happy. Your Order will be processed once your funds are cleared (usually 1 -2 days).

In our Confirmation/Invoice email to you we will include all the information for paying by cheque, Direct Deposit, Australian Money Order or Credit Card. To pay by Credit Card you can either go to our Payments Page via the link we give you in your email or you can come back to this Page and pay. Either way the link will click through to Paymate's Secure Site.

We will keep you informed of your Order status at all times and we will email you again when the item is shipped.

We've gone through the ringer trying to figure out the best way to set all of this up and we decided... old-fashioned is best. Besides, we are in the business of getting people connected again and that is why we think email is the best route.

Please ensure that our emails to you do not get caught up in spam filters though, as that may create problems and delay things. Add our email to your contact or permitted list. We have state-of-the-art security including anti-virus and firewalls. Do you? Don't be slack - it's important.

We'll be with you all along the way - no impersonal shopping cart here. We are yet to be convinced there are no security issues with shopping carts and that is why we are set up this way.

Sorry, no overseas cheques or money orders because of the fees involved. Overseas people will also generally find that Direct Deposit is too expensive too but mostly for Australians there is no fee involved. Fees for credit card payments are fairly minimal (Paymate will calculate these for you) - unless you order thousands!. In any case, you will be informed before you agree to everything.

We use www.paymate.com.au (the Australian equivalent of Paypal) to process our credit card payments. Paymate is a fully secure online ordering facility and your details will be fully encrypted and protected by an industry standard SSL Certificate. How do you tell if a site is secure? Look up the top when you click on the logo below and you will see the URL changes from http to https.

You may need java, pop-ups and cookies temporarily enabled if you are having trouble. Let us know if you are having trouble and if necessary we can step you through a few basics of Internet Security so that you can with us and Paymate.

You do have to agree to Paymate's terms and conditions, and that means you agree to pay the correct fee in the nominated currency; all fees and conversions will be calculated by Paymate for you (you will be kept fully apprised every step of the way and you do not have to proceed if you are not happy). Your card statement will reflect a payment to Paymate and not to Mountain Mist Productions.

On the Paymate form you will be asked to fill in the Item numbers of the products you wish to order. No need to do that if you have already emailled us and told us what you want and we have sent you a Confirmation - no use making more work!

We are able to accept payment in other currencies and Paymate will convert and pay us in Australian Dollars.

You will be notified when your item is shipped. Most items are Print on Demand. Please allow approximately 10 - 14 days for us to ship. We will ship sooner where possible (depends on how much birdseed the carrier pigeons from Adelaide consume - just joking!). Please allow a few extra days to reach you, depending on your location. We ship via Australia Post and we recommend that you request a quote for insurance before you complete your Order if you need to as we will not be responsible for goods once they are shipped. All due care will be taken with packaging of items.

Overseas people are advised that there may be delays in Customs due to increased security procedures especially around busy holiday times.

Print Books and other items - will be replaced if there is a manufacturing defect - must be returned in original condition immediately for a refund of invoice total and/or replacement items.

Good idea to still use the email link down the bottom to speed things up though. That way we can calculate your shipping and tell you payment options.

We do not have a traditional Shopping Cart - we ask you to email us first so we can give you a postage quote and ways you can pay. We have Full Online Secure Ordering through Paymate in a variety of currencies. There is no obligation for you to proceed at any time. Note the Items Numbers in your email and we will get back to you. Why no shopping cart? The security and technological issues are just too great and time-consuming and they need to be regularly updated and bugs "fixed". We feel if we pay good money for something it should not be up to us to address issues that continually arise and we are concerned about the storing of data and the ease with which some of these programs may be compromised. We have used Paymate for a long time and we are very happy with this service and the security they offer - your details are fully encrypted to industry standard and we do not see any of your private information.

All other items are charged at standard Australia Post rates for regular Australian mail and International Air Mail for overseas plus a handling fee according to what packaging is required.
